Open Communication has been awarded the Tourism Excellence Award 2010 as "best tourism communications agency in the English market." The delivery of this prestigious award will take place in the framework of Fitur on Wednesday 19 January in the Press Room at 17:00.
Excellencies Awards were created in 2005 by the Group Excellencies, which has 35 publications in five languages, with the aim to promote excellence in various fields, all related to tourism and culture. Since then they have become a benchmark for all those involved in this important sector and are active always with the goal of being excellent.
According to Jose Carlos de Santiago, Group President, Excellencies, "the international jury that awarded the prize of Open Communication professionalism and willingness to make work easier for journalists and media using various formulas to bring customers professionals through travel information, reports, press releases, notes, etc.. and thanks to constant human contact. "
Meanwhile, Enrique Sanchez, director of Open Communication said: "This award really should be given to various media outlets and journalists who collect our information, without them, our work would be meaningless. Tourism Excellence Awards this year were recognized, among others, the Office of Tourism of Puerto Rico, Panama and the Dominican Republic to Miami, the Promotion Council Central American Tourism and the Tourism Ministers of Culture of Brazil and Cuba. It has also been awarded the Gourmet Excellencies Rafael Anson, President of the Royal English Academy of Gastronomy and a Special Award Fitur.
